Spinning carefully crafted sounds with deft eclecticism, Toronto-forged, afro hip-hop artist MANYENYA fuses familiar instrumentation of Amapiano with melodies from his home, Zimbabwe

MANYENYA made his musical mark as a afro hip hop act across Toronto venues, with a series of electrifying performances that showcased his pure love for the craft, and saw his 2020 release ‘Changu Chabata’ making the top 100 Canadian songs on CBC Radio that year. He followed this up with his debut EP, ‘Fear before Crown’ MANYENYA’s music style is a delicate balance of energetic rhythmic beats and introspective wordplay that he describes as piano poetry.
